A recent study shows that soda fountain machines are not so hygienic. Interestingly, high-sugar diets can alter intestinal flora making the effects from assaults by microorganisms in drinking not-so "hygienic" sodas and water much worse. Among other health benefits, green tea has been demonstrated to provide important phytonutrients that enhance "good" gut flora and improve overall gut health and intestinal integrity.
